Tawang is a beautiful hill town located at an approx high elevation of 3048MTR / 10000FT above sea level situated in the northwestern part of the northeast Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. Tawang with its natural beauty is also equally wrapped in spirituality. After breakfast, set out for a half day sightseeing tour of Tawang. First, you will be taken to Tawang Monastery, also known as the Golden Namgyal Lhatse which is the largest monastery in India and second largest in the world after Potala Palace in Lhasa.
